sleepless night...
Man it is 3:31 eastern time and yet I am awake. I don't know what is going on, I have been waking up for every hour on the hour and I haven't even ate any pizza tonight.
It has been a long week and it is finally coming to a close. I have not one, but two dentist appointments today to finish off my spring break. Then it is back to educating young minds again which really sometimes just flat out scares me.
It was a wonderful week last we spending it with Kayla's family and working on my Systematic Theology homework, but at least I can say with complete happiness that I am done, finish, and finito.
Besides Kayla's family that came down from Kansas, her brother Joel visited from Minnapolis to visits and was able to stay longer than he anticipated. He went to fly out on Friday, but after a few storms his flights were delayed that he would not be able to connect so he wasn't able to leave until Sunday.
Joel, Kayla, and I attend a sunrise service which was new for all three of us yesterday morning at 6:30 AM. It was different, but good. Afterwards we had a Easter morning breakfast which was quite pleasant. Later that morning we took Joel to the airport so he could fly home and we went over to my aunt and uncle's home and spent the afternoon with then. It has been a while since I seen my cousins, but it was good. One is a missionary to Romania and the other is becoming a cop. To different ends of the spectrum. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and hunting a hundred something easter eggs with three kids, excluding myself.
After visting with them we came back to good old Lakeland to relax and just try to settle down back into our normal routines.
Sunday, was an amazing day! A day to celebrate that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the father interceding for me and to know that when I slip up that he is there interceding on my behave so that I may have life more abundantly. It is just flat out amazing and I could never thank him enough for all that he has provided me and done for me.
Lord I just want to take you for the friends and family that you have placed in my life. I could never thank you for all that you have done for me and all that you have given me. I truly blessed more than the richest man in the world. I want to thank you for sending your son to this earth to die on the cross and be rose again so that I may have life more abundantly. It is so amazing to see how much you love me. I know that I will never on this earth ever be able to fathom the concept of your love because I am finite and your are infinite.
My constant prayer is that you shall be first in my life and that you will help your servant become the man that you have called me to be and for me to put away things so that I may move on towards that goal. I ask for your forgivness for the times that I do find myself screwing up and making mistakes. I pray that your will be done in my life. Lord I love you with all my heart and as the Scripture says with all my soul, might, mind, body, and all that is within me I love you. Thank you for giving this boy a chance.
